Guaranty Trust Bank Plc (the Bank) is a Nigerian bank that offers a range of financial services and products throughout Nigeria and in the West African sub-region. The Company’s core business is focused on four principal areas: Institutional Banking Division, which services multi-nationals and large corporate organizations; Commercial Banking Division, which is structured to meet the banking needs of middle market entities, such as manufacturers, importers and other medium-sized corporate organizations; Public Sector Division, which services the needs of government parastatals and agencies at the federal, state and local government levels, as well as contractors to Nigerian state and government agencies, and Retail Banking Division, which provides banking services, primarily deposit accounts, to individuals and small businesses. As of June 2, 2008, the Bank had 130 business offices in Nigeria, and banking subsidiaries in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Gambia and the United Kingdom.
